If you’re new to yoga—or new to our studio—we’re so glad you’re here.
Yoga Village Templeton is an inclusive, non-competitive space where every body, every age, and every ability is welcome. You don’t need to be flexible, fit, or experienced to begin. You simply need to show up as you are.
Our all-levels classes are intentionally designed to support true beginners while still offering depth and thoughtful variation for more experienced students. You’ll always be encouraged to move at your own pace, listen inward, and choose what feels right for your body.
Is This the Right Place for Me?
If you’ve ever thought:
You belong here.
We are not a hot yoga or just a fitness studio. Our approach is gentle, mindful, and rooted in authentic yoga—honoring breath, awareness, and individual needs over performance or intensity.
What to Expect in Your First Class
Expect a welcoming, calm environment where you’re encouraged to move slowly and mindfully. Classes include gentle movement, breath awareness, and clear verbal guidance, with options offered throughout. Teachers regularly remind students that rest is always an option.
There is no pressure to keep up, push through discomfort, or “do it right.”
Yoga at Yoga Village Templeton is about listening inward and responding with care.

Join us for two consecutive weeks of unlimited classes for just $54. This introductory offer is the perfect way to explore our classes, meet our teachers, and become part of the Yoga Village Templeton community.
Your two weeks begin the day you attend your first class. Offer is valid for new students only. No refunds or extensions.
Do I need experience to attend class?
Not at all. Our classes are extremely beginner-friendly, and many students start with little to no prior yoga experience.
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move and breathe easily. There’s no need for special yoga attire—simple, soft, and stretchy is perfect.
What should I bring?
If you have a yoga mat, feel free to bring it. We also offer mats and props at the studio, so you can come empty-handed if needed.
Will I be the only beginner?
Very likely not. Our classes often include a mix of brand-new and long-time students practicing together—each at their own pace.
What if I need to rest or modify poses?
Rest is always encouraged. Our teachers offer modifications and variations, and you are always welcome to pause, skip a pose, or rest whenever needed.
Is this a workout class?
While yoga builds strength and flexibility, our focus is not fitness or intensity. Our classes emphasize mindful movement, breath, and awareness over exertion.
What if I have injuries or physical limitations?
Our teachers are trained to offer accessible options and support a wide range of needs. You’re welcome to share any concerns before class, and we encourage you to honor your body throughout.
