Chair Yoga is one of the most gentle and accessible forms of yoga. Students practice postures and breathing exercises from the support of a chair. This class is perfect for seniors, those recovering from injury or illness, and anyone who wants to experience the many benefits of yoga without having to get up and down from the floor. Benefits include increased strength, mobility, balance and flexibility, along with improved circulation all while cultivating a deep sense of inner peace. No prior yoga experience necessary.
A hatha yoga class that incorporates stretching, postures, balance and breath work delivered with care. This is an all levels offering which concludes beautifully with a deeply relaxing Savasana (final relaxation pose) & Meditation.

This all levels class is thoughtfully designed to stretch your overworked muscles to improve flexibility, while resting your busy mind. Breath awareness and guided relaxation will allow you the freedom to let go of the outside world, enabling you to release physical and mental tension. The use of props which include bolsters, blankets and massage balls will help lead you into a state of deep inner peace.
The perfect transition from a busy day into a restful evening. We will begin with a guided meditation accompanied by the healing frequency of the crystal singing bowls. You will enjoy the slow pace of gentle stretching sprinkled with held restorative poses completely supported by props. The focus is on deep relaxation for the body and mind melting away tension while surrendering into the postures. With this support you are able to let go of long held tension, while the body restores and the nervous system resets.
Sloooooooow Flow is a sweet breath-based mindful movement practice that invites us to slow down and go with the flow. This class will be challenging at times and is an amazing vehicle to relieve stress and tension, strengthen our body and increase our stability and flexibility, and create a sense of calm and awareness which can open our mind to the present moment. We learn how to be strong, receptive, accepting, and fluid. Instructions are offered at a slower pace, allowing for skillful transitions and time to savor the sweetness of each pose. Sloooooooow flow is accessible to both younger and maturing peoples, and those working with injuries.
This is a short and sweet 30 minute class to stretch away the stress of the morning, rejuvenating you for the rest of the day. No experience necessary, and you’ll still have time to eat your lunch. :)

We’ll conclude the class with Yoga Nidra, a powerful guided meditation practice that induces complete physical, mental, and emotional relaxation. Yoga Nidra allows you to reach a profound state of rest, helping to reset your nervous system and restore balance.

This is a slow and steady practice intended to help you
slow down your thoughts, your rhythms and your ideas that
you have control over anything else but you. One wants to
melt into a complete position of surrender to experience the
opening of the deeper tissues of the body and where the
body goes the mind/heart will follow. The feeling of peace
that can arise when you consciously let go can create a
mindset that things can change when you allow life to move
organically through you.
One of the most powerful messages of yoga is that of self acceptance. Each of us is different and unique with our own set of needs, limitations and strengths. It is essential that children with special needs discover their own magnificence. Practicing yoga allows them to experience their mind and body without judgement. Yoga breathing, affirmations, mindfulness techniques and poses teach children to tune into their intuition and to become comfortable in their body while quieting the mind and having fun.
The non-competitive nature of yoga allows children to feel accepted and able to participate regardless of physical or mental ability. As children with special needs learn to appreciate their own unique talents and abilities, they will truly be able to reach their fullest potential in heart, mind and body.
